    • PDF

    Article summary

The Nureva® App is a web-based companion app designed to enhance the setup and configuration of HDL310 and HDL410 systems, as well as manage a comprehensive range of audio device settings. This web app is accessed over a local area network (LAN) using a browser and the IP address for the Nureva device. A continuous internet connection is not required to access the app.

    Audio conferencing presets

Audio conferencing presets in the Nureva app provide a convenient way to choose the optimal settings for Microsoft® Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms. When launching the app for the first time, the audio conferencing preset will be Microsoft Teams, the default setting.

If the settings already match Microsoft Teams, the button to apply the Microsoft Teams settings will not be available. If the settings already match Zoom Rooms, the button to apply the Zoom Rooms settings will not be available. Both buttons will be available if the settings don’t match Microsoft Teams or Zoom Rooms.

    Microsoft Teams Rooms

Applying the recommended settings for Microsoft Teams Rooms will make the following settings adjustments:

    • Microphone volume gain to 0 dB

    • Bass to 16

    • Treble to 90

    • Echo reduction to medium

    • Noise reduction to medium

    Zoom Rooms

Applying the recommended settings for Zoom Rooms will make the following settings adjustments:

    • Microphone volume gain of +6 dB

    • Bass to 50

    • Treble to 90

    • Echo reduction to medium

    • Noise reduction to medium

    Before starting

Ensure the HDL310 or HDL410 system has been connected to the internet for a minimum of six hours. This allows the device to complete component updates. Internet access is required only to update the device.

Have the device IP address and enrollment code ready to access the app for the first time. The IP address and enrollment code can be found in Nureva Console. This information is available in the device dashboard, under the Hardware and networking section.

If the device is not connected to Nureva Console, the enrollment code and MAC address can be found on the bottom of the connect module. These will be used to find the IP address and access the app for the first time.

    Using the app

The Nureva App can be opened and used on a computer or mobile device that has a supported browser installed. Currently, the Chrome™ and Safari® browsers are supported.

    1. Open a browser and enter the device IP address into the search bar.

    2. When prompted for a password, enter the HDL310 or HDL410 enrollment code and click Continue.

    3. The app will advance to the Nureva App home page.

    4. Open the Settings menu.

    5. Select Audio conferencing.

    6. Press Apply for the Microsoft Teams or Zoom Rooms setting.

    7. Confirm the setting choice by pressing Apply.

Back to Settings returns the app to the main Nureva App home page.

    Troubleshooting

    Nureva App does not load

If the Nureva App does not load in the browser, check the following:

    • Is the correct IP address being used to access the app?

    • Are the computer and the Nureva device on the same LAN? The app will not launch if the Nureva device and computer are on different networks.

    • Has the HDL310 or HDL410 system been connected to the internet for a minimum of six hours? This will allow the device to complete component updates. Internet access is required only to update the device.
