Get started with the Nureva app

    • PDF

    Article Summary

The Nureva® app is available with HDL310 and HDL410 audio systems as an alternative to using Nureva Console for device management. The app is accessed using a browser and the IP address for the Nureva device. Internet access is not required to access the app.

    Before starting

Ensure the HDL310 or HDL410 system has been connected to the internet for a minimum of six hours. This allows the device to complete component updates. Internet access is only required to update the device.

Have the device IP address and enrollment code ready to access the app. The IP address and enrollment code can be found in Nureva Console. This information is available through the device dashboard, under the Hardware and networking section.

If the device is not connected to Nureva Console, the enrollment code and MAC address can be found on the bottom of the connect module. These will be used to find the IP address and access the app for the first time.

Additional information about finding the IP address is available in the troubleshooting section of this article.

    Using the app

The Nureva app can be opened and used through a computer or mobile device that has a supported browser installed. Currently, the Chrome™ and Safari® browsers are supported.

    1. Open a browser and enter the device IP address into the search bar.

    2. When prompted for a password, enter the HDL310 or HDL410 enrollment code and click Continue.

    3. The app will advance to the Nureva device management page.

    • Integrations: Set up local integrations to allow sharing of sound location data for camera tracking and switching.

    • Troubleshooting: Confirm the network configuration if an HDL310 or HDL410 device is displaying an offline status.

    Troubleshooting

    Nureva app does not load

If the Nureva app does not load in the browser, check the following:

    • Is the correct IP address being used to access the app?

    • Are the computer and the Nureva device on the same local area network (LAN)? The app will not launch if the Nureva device and computer are on different networks.

    • Has the HDL310 or HDL410 system been connected to the internet for a minimum of six hours? This will allow the device to complete component updates. Internet access is only required to update the device.

Looking up the IP address for an HDL310 or HDL410 system

The MAC address for the Nureva device will be required to look up the IP address. On the bottom of the connect module is a sticker with the MAC address.

    Windows computer

Open the Command Prompt by typing cmd in the search menu in the lower-left corner of the desktop, next to the Windows® icon.

    1. Press Enter on the keyboard.

    2. A dialog will open. Enter the arp -a command in the dialog and press Enter. Note that there is a space between “arp” and “-a.”

    3. A list of MAC addresses and their corresponding IP addresses will be available.

    4. Match the MAC address for the Nureva device to the IP address.

    macOS computer

    1. Open the Finder, select the /Applications/Utilities folder and then double-click Terminal on your macOS® computer.

    2. The Terminal window will open. Enter the arp -a command in the dialog and press Enter. Note that there is a space between “arp” and “-a.”

    3. A list of MAC addresses and their corresponding IP addresses will be available.

    4. Match the MAC address for the Nureva device to the IP address.
