Technical support articles are being prepared ahead of HDX availability and may be updated as features, functionality and guidance evolve.
The Nureva App helps you set up and configure HDX series devices and manage a comprehensive range of audio settings. To use the app, the device enrollment code (default) or a password (optional) is needed. A password can be used to replace the enrollment code.
The Nureva App is available from the App Store® (iOS, iPadOS®) and Google Play™ (Android™) stores and through a web browser by using the IP address for a Nureva HDX series device.
Get started with the Nureva App
Steps to reset the password
Launch the Nureva App and connect to the HDX device using the desktop connection, mobile app, web browser or direct Ethernet connection.
In the app, enter the HDX device’s IP address and enrollment code, then select Continue.
If the enrollment code has been replaced with a password, enter the password.
The app will advance to the Nureva App home page.
Open the Settings menu.
Select Device password.
Enter the new password in the New password field.
Reenter the new password in the Confirm new password field.
Complete the password change by pressing Apply.
Back to Settings returns the app to the Settings menu.
Password requirements
The Nureva App and the HDX device do not have password requirements. Setting a strong password with the following guidelines is suggested:
Comprise at least 10 characters.
Include at least one lowercase and one uppercase letter.
Include numbers and symbols.
Forgotten passwords
If the password is forgotten after it has been changed, it can only be updated locally through the Nureva App running on a computer directly connected to the HDX device.
Contact Nureva support for assistance in returning the password to the default password.
