Adjusting HDX speaker EQ settings with the Nureva App

Prev Next

The Nureva® HDX series is coming soon.

Technical support articles are being prepared ahead of HDX availability and may be updated as features, functionality and guidance evolve.

The Nureva App offers options for setting the speaker EQ (equalizer) so you can adjust how audio is reproduced across different frequency ranges. This setting helps optimize the sound quality for your room by fine-tuning the bass, midrange and treble output. HDX systems provide independent 3-band EQ controls for both music and conferencing modes.

Each mode can be adjusted separately to suit different use cases:

  • Music mode enhances media playback and the overall listening experience.

  • Conferencing mode focuses on speech clarity.

Each EQ band can be adjusted to compensate for room acoustics, audio bar placement or user preference.

Frequency bands

  • Low — bass frequencies

  • Mid — vocal and speech range

  • High — treble and clarity

The default setting is 0 dB and the adjustment range is −8 dB to +12 dB.

Important: Keeping Nureva audio systems up to date helps ensure access to new features, optimum performance and improvements to overall functionality.
