The Nureva® App is a companion app designed to enhance the setup and configuration of HDL310 and HDL410 systems, as well as manage a comprehensive range of audio device settings. The Nureva App is available from the Apple® App Store (iOS, iPadOS®) and through a web browser by using the IP address for a Nureva Pro series device.

How does the Nureva acoustic check tool work?
The Nureva acoustic check tool uses an iPhone to capture both the background noise level and the reverberation time. The acoustic check tool combines the background noise and reverberation measurements, providing an overall acoustic score that predicts audio performance in a given location.
This feature allows users to take background noise and reverberation measurements using the iPhone microphone.
If at least one background noise and one reverberation measurement are taken, an overall acoustic score between 0 and 100 will be calculated.
The acoustic score (and individual measurements) can help in choosing the optimal position for Nureva Pro series microphone and speaker bars.
Completing an acoustic check
Open the Nureva App on an iPhone.
Press the Start acoustic check button.
Name the room where the acoustic check is taking place.
Measure the room’s reverberation and receive an RT60 score.
Measure the background noise to learn the average level of ambient noise in the room.
Press the Done button to receive a location score and description of the room’s audio characteristics.
Screen capture the summary page to share the results.
Understanding the results
Ideal acoustics
An acoustic score of 75+ is ideal for audio conferencing and recording. The Nureva device will automatically adapt to changing conditions for full-room microphone pickup of talkers anywhere in the space. Proceed with installation and default settings.
Supported acoustics
An acoustic score of 25 to 75 is supported for audio conferencing and recording. The Nureva device will adapt to changing conditions for full-room microphone pickup of talkers. See individual reverberation and background noise results for more details.
Challenging acoustics
An acoustic score of below 25 is challenging for audio conferencing and recording. Therefore, audio issues are possible. See individual reverberation and background noise results for details and contact Nureva technical support.
