    Why is an update needed?

    Nureva® HDL310 and HDL410 systems require a minimum device version to support a connection to the mobile version of the Nureva App.

    Older device versions of these audio systems may not have the embedded Nureva App or the necessary features to allow for app access.

    How to update the device

    The update process will depend on the current device version.

    Scenario 1: The device supports the web version of the Nureva App

    If the Nureva audio device already has the Nureva App available through a browser, follow these steps.

    1. Connect the computer or mobile device to the same network as the HDL310 or HDL410.

    2. Open a browser and enter the Nureva device’s IP address.

    3. Log in to the Nureva App using the enrolment code found on the bottom of the connect module.

    4. Press the Update button, which will be enabled when an update is available.

    Scenario 2: The device does not support the Nureva App

    If the Nureva audio device is running on an older device version without the embedded Nureva App, follow these steps.

    1. Connect the connect module to a network with internet access.

    2. Leave it connected for at least 6 hours to allow the initial update to complete.

    After the update is complete, the Nureva App will be available for browser access. The Nureva device can be updated further if needed.

    If you’re unsure which scenario applies

    • Check the device version using Nureva Console. The supported device version is 1.9.282987-1047 or later.

    • If you can’t access the Nureva App in a browser, the device needs the initial update.

    After updating

    When the HDL310 or HDL410 is on the required device version, the options are to:

    • Connect and manage the system using the mobile version of the Nureva App.

    • Continue using the web version of the Nureva App to manage the Nureva device.

    Connecting the device

    You can connect the Nureva App to the Nureva device using a direct connection or a local area network (LAN) connection.

    Get started with the Nureva App

    Direct connection

    Connect an Ethernet cable from the Nureva device’s connect module to a tablet, mobile phone or computer.

    LAN connection

    Use a local area network (LAN) to connect the Nureva App to the Nureva device. This requires an IP address on the same network.
