This article outlines the steps for to set static and dynamic IP addresses for HDL310 and HDL410 systems using the Nureva App. Setting the device IP address is not available through Nureva Console for HDL310 and HDL410 devices.

Note: After an IP address reset the current device logs may not be available. To keep the current device logs, ensure they are download before resetting the IP address. The device logs can be downloaded through the Tools page in the Nureva App.

Setting a static IP address

  1. Open the Nureva App and enter the HDL310 or HDL410’s IP address and enrollment code, then select Continue.

    • If the enrollment code has been replaced with a password, enter the password.

  2. The app will advance to the Nureva App home page.

  3. Open Settings and select Network.

    • On the Network page, the network information — including the Nureva device IP address — is available.

  4. In the drop-down menu, change the setting to Static.

    • Four fields are available — IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS.

  5. Enter the new IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS.

    • Multiple DNS entries can be used provided that commas separate them.

  6. Press Apply at the bottom of the page.

    • A pop-up window will appear for confirmation.

    • The app will reload the page using the new IP address.

  7. Enter the device password to return to the Nureva App home page.

Important: Nureva recommends setting a private device IP address and ensuring all fields are on the same subnet to maintain access to the Nureva device.

Setting a dynamic IP address

If a static IP address has been set up for an HDL310 or HDL410 system, the setting can be returned to a dynamic IP address.

  4. In the drop-down menu, change the setting to Automatic (DHCP).

  5. Press Apply at the bottom of the page.

    • A pop-up window will appear for confirmation.

  6. After confirming the change, the Nureva App will lose connection with the Nureva device.

  7. Find the new IP address to reenter the app.

Important: Resetting the Nureva device will set a new dynamic IP address and return some device settings back to default.
