Room profiles with HDL410 systems

Room profiles in the Nureva® App allow you to configure a single physical space for multiple meeting scenarios. This feature is especially useful when working with HDL410 systems, where the same room may be used for a variety of purposes, such as small team meetings or larger group sessions. By creating and switching between profiles, you can apply predefined room configurations without needing to manually adjust settings each time.
When to Use room profiles
Room profiles are especially useful when a single room is regularly reconfigured for different types of conferences — particularly when active zones, camera zones, or camera switching are involved.
Examples where this can be useful
- During a team huddle having the camera focused on participants seated around the table, possibly using multiple camera views, with full-room audio pickup enabled.
- For a company-wide presentation in the same space, it may be more effective to have a camera zone near the front of the room focused on the presenter, with additional zones positioned further back to capture the audience.
By creating distinct profiles for each scenario, the need to manually reconfigure zones and camera settings before every meeting can be avoided.
Creating a room profile
By default, Profile 1 is available on the homepage of the Nureva App. To create additional profiles or edit existing profiles:
- Click the Profile menu on the homepage.
- Select Edit icon to rename the current profile.
- Choose Add profile to create a new profile. - This duplicates the current profile and allows you to customize its name.

Once a new profile is created it becomes active. The zones and camera switching settings can be adjusted independently from other profiles. A maximum of three profiles can be set up per room.
Note: Audio settings are shared across all profiles. Changes made to the audio settings for one profile will apply to every profile for that room.
Switching between profiles
Follow these steps to switch between existing room profiles:
- From the homepage, open the Profile menu.
- Select the profile to activate.
- Click on Got it to dismiss the confirmation notification.
The selected profile is now active, and its settings will be applied to the room.
Removing a profile
A profile needs to be changed to inactive before it can be removed. There must always be at least one active profile. To remove a profile:
- Open the Profile menu on the homepage.
- Locate the inactive profile and click the trash can icon.
- Click on Remove to confirm.
HDL410 specific capabilities
HDL410 systems support up to eight camera zones on a coverage map. When an INOGENI® CAM230 multi-camera switcher is used, up to three zones can be configured. Each room profile can be set up with unique zones. With CAM230 integration camera inputs can be mapped differently for each profile. For example, Input 1 can be designated as a presenter zone in one profile and an audience zone in different profiles.
