    Article Summary

In Nureva® Console cloud, an average background noise measurement can be found on the Rooms page for each room in an organization.

The average background noise measurement provides a rolling average of background noise data in the room from the past several days. It’s a measurement of the ambient noise level in the room.

For detailed analytics about the average background noise measurement in any room, click the Explore detailed data link.

    Requirements

    1. Ensure the Nureva Console client application is running and up to date in each room.

      • This application must remain running to collect the data.

      • The latest version is required.

    2. Confirm all Nureva audio devices have the latest firmware.

    3. Enroll all Nureva audio devices into Nureva Console cloud to enable remote management.

    Troubleshooting

    Data load issue

Instead of the average background noise measurement, you may see a message that says, Oops, that data didn’t load. Please refresh the page. This means that Nureva Console encountered a problem when loading the data.

Refreshing the page in the browser should solve this problem. If the issue persists after several refreshes, contact Technical Support for assistance.

    Missing data

An average background noise measurement of 0 dBA might appear in light gray.

This indicates that no analytics data has been collected by the Nureva audio system for the past several days. There are two possible reasons for missing data:

    1. The Nureva audio device in the room is not enabled to collect analytics data. Both the device firmware and the Nureva Console client application on the in-room computer require minimum versions to be able to collect analytics data.

    • Ensure the Nureva Console client application in each room is running and up to date.

      • This application must remain running to collect the data.

      • The latest version is required.

    • Confirm the Nureva audio conferencing systems have the latest firmware.

    1. The Nureva audio conferencing system in the room is enabled to collect data but the device was not online.

    • Nureva audio devices only collect data when they are online and connected to the cloud application.

    • Data cannot be collected when a device is offline, disconnected or unplugged.
