Learn more about the control plugin.
Available system adjustments
The Q-SYS plugin enables adjustments to an HDL pro series system through the Q-SYS audio, video and control platform. The available adjustments are:
Speaker volume up/down
Microphone mute/unmute
Speaker treble and bass adjustment (EQ)
Recalibration
Sound location data
The HDL pro series system’s sound location data is also included in the plugin and can be used to automate Q-SYS cameras.
Microphone status
The microphone status can be monitored inside the plugin and connected to a monitoring proxy to enable monitoring and management with Q-SYS Reflect.
Before downloading the control plugin
Update the Nureva audio conferencing system to the latest firmware version.
This plugin uses WebSocket connections to operate. Ensure a version of Q-SYS is used that supports WebSocket connections. Q-SYS version 9.8.0 is the minimum base version that supports WebSockets.

Q-SYS Automatic Camera Preset Recall (ACPR) plugin
An alternative Q-SYS-certified plugin is available for integrating the HDL310 and HDL410 systems with the Q-SYS platform. The ACPR plugin was developed primarily for camera switching using audio data from in-room microphones to trigger user-defined camera presets. Speaker volume adjustments and microphone mute are also available through this plugin.
Features of the ACPR plugin:
Management of fixed, pre-determined camera shot presets.
Preset recall based on sound location data provided by an HDL310 or HDL410 to determine the talker’s location in the room.
Multiple instances allowed within a location to support varied room layouts and divisions.
Ideal for tracking the active talker and using presets to ensure remote participants can see who is talking.
