The Nureva® Dual HDL300 system features status indicator lights on the back of the connect module. These lights can be used to help troubleshoot issues with the system and confirm the device is ready for use.
Check the power light
To determine whether there is power, check the power light.
Green on — connect module is powered
Green off — connect module is not powered
RJ45 ports — Power over Ethernet
To determine the status of the connection between the connect module and the microphone and speaker bars, check the lights for the RJ45 connection.
Green | Connection is configured correctly. |
Yellow | Cable is working correctly. |
Green — off Yellow — flashing | The port is connected to a network instead of the microphone and speaker bars. |
Green — on Yellow — flashing | The connect module is connected to the microphone and speaker bars and functioning properly. |
Green — flashing Yellow — flashing | The port is working but has been configured incorrectly. This could be caused if connected through an Ethernet switch or to a network. |
Green — flashing Yellow — off | The port has been shut down due to a Power over Ethernet (PoE) error. This might be caused by the port drawing too much power and then being shut down for safety reasons. |
Check the system status indicator light
The system status indicator light provides information on the overall status of the connect module. Check this light to determine some basic information.
Bright green | The system is on and operating. |
Light green | The system is on and in standby mode. |
Red — on | The system is in a failure state. |
Yellow — flashing | The firmware is being updated. |
Light off | The system is not powered. |
Red — flashing Green — flashing | The firmware is incorrect and technical support should be contacted. |
Yellow — flashing Green — flashing | The system is in continuous reset mode. Unplug the Ethernet cable. If the light turns green, try changing the speaker bars. If changing the speaker bars does not solve the problem, then change the connect module. |
