Coverage map and camera switching support
What’s new?
The HDL310 system and the Nureva App have been updated to enable sound location data to be used for camera switching with third-party cameras. Camera switching zones are set up in the Nureva App.
How it works
When using the Nureva App to set up camera switching with an HDL310 system, the camera switching functionality is similar to that with an HDL410 system. These are the steps:
Open the coverage map dashboard and enter the room dimensions.
Test different locations in the room to ensure sound location data is being collected.
Calibrate the HDL310 system to ensure accurate sound locations.
Adjust the room dimensions as needed, clearing the sound location data if adjustments are made.
Create camera zones in the coverage map.
Test the zones by speaking within the zone areas in the room.

Device control for HDL310 and HDL410 systems
What’s new?
Device control is a Nureva App feature that allows users to quickly and easily manage basic audio settings for the HDL310 and HDL410 devices. This feature can be used as a controller for quick volume adjustments by presenters and meeting participants while using the room.
With device control, you can:
Adjust the speaker volume
Mute or unmute the microphones
The Nureva App can be configured to restrict access so users see only the device control page in the app, providing simple audio controls without access to other features.
How it works
In the Nureva App:
Tap the control icon to open the device control page.
Adjust the system volume or mute the microphones as needed.
Lock the device control page to restrict access to the rest of the app by using the single session or persistent lock.
Why it matters
Provides in-room users with quick access to basic controls such as mute and volume.
Eliminates the need to use a physical remote control.
Offers an alternative to using a room control system for mute and volume adjustments.
Simplifies the overall room experience.

USB connection support — HDL310 and HDL410
What’s new?
The Nureva App on Windows computers now supports USB connections to the HDL310 and HDL410 connect modules.
How it works
HDL310 and HDL410 devices can now connect to the Nureva App installed on a Windows computer.
Devices connected through the LAN or with a direct connection will continue to use the Nureva web app.
Why it matters
The Nureva App provides local device management when remote management is not available.
Some environments do not allow network connections due to security restrictions or network resource limitations.
Previously, these devices were managed over USB using Nureva Console client. In these cases, USB management was not available after the transition from Nureva Console client to the Nureva App for PC.
