Nureva® audio systems can be paired with Laia’s Intelligent Audiovisual System (IAVS®) software and cameras. You get precise full -room microphone pickup and real-time sound location data for automated camera control and seamless tracking with Laia IP and PTZ cameras — all without adding extra hardware to your design.
About Laia IAVS
IAVS is Laia’s core software engine for camera tracking. It enables direct integration between Laia IP and PTZ cameras and the Nureva HDL310 and HDL410 systems. By using IAVS, organizations can eliminate the need for third-party hardware traditionally required for camera control.
What IAVS offers
Designed for videoconferencing spaces, hybrid classrooms and large auditoriums, IAVS is a software-based solution that uses telemetry data from Nureva microphone systems and Laia IP or PTZ cameras. It automatically adjusts camera views based on a speaker’s position and a set of predefined camera zones.
IAVS also supports live and automated video switching for up to 99 cameras through its virtual camera output or NDI® output (only one output type can be used at a time).
Users can also create multiple room configurations, so the cameras respond according to the room’s intended use — such as presentations, group discussions and hybrid meetings.
Specifications
Installs on Windows® PCs, Windows -based OPS (Intel® Open Pluggable Specification) displays, Microsoft® Teams Rooms devices and BYOD setups running Windows 10, 64 bit with Intel Core™ i7 processors (or higher).
Supports registration of up to 99 IP/PTZ cameras, with access to camera settings and zone control using microphone system telemetry data.
Allows configuration of different scenarios based on Nureva HDL310 or HDL410 systems, supporting 4 to 256 detection sectors (depending on the microphone system).
Includes an automatic update system that notifies users when new versions become available.
Installation and configuration
IAVS can be deployed in the way that best fits your room — on a dedicated PC, a Windows -based interactive display with OPS, a BYOD configuration or existing Microsoft Teams Rooms devices.
For proper operation:
IAVS must have access to the VLAN or WAN where Laia cameras are connected so it can manage them and receive video streams.
All Laia cameras must be configured correctly, and required ports must be open on the network switch.
Each microphone system may require configuration through its own management tools to ensure full integration with IAVS.
The Nureva connect module audio output must be connected to the PC through USB according to Nureva’s installation guidelines.
User experience
IAVS supports multiple BYOD options. Users can connect through their own PC via USB or wirelessly using devices such as Laia myTeam Sharer, Barco ClickShare, or the Microsoft Teams certified NDI camera input.
