Nureva App for Android
What’s new? We’re excited to announce the launch of the Nureva App for Android. This new version of the app offers the same features as the iOS version, with the exception of the acoustic check feature.
How it works:
Seamless setup: The Nureva App for Android simplifies the installation and configuration of Nureva HDL pro series devices. You can set up and configure your devices over a local area network without needing to download additional software, create accounts or have an ongoing internet connection.
User-friendly features: The app includes features such as a coverage map to visualize microphone and speaker bar placement, voice detection for improved camera switching and a device setup tool with installation tips and step-by-step guidance.
Accessibility: The Android version of the app is available for free download from the Google Play store, in addition to the iOS version being available for free download from the App Store® platform, making it accessible to a broader audience.
Why it matters: The Nureva App for Android makes it easier for you to set up and manage your Nureva HDL pro series devices using your Android phone or tablet. You won’t need to worry about downloading extra software or creating accounts. The app provides a simple and intuitive way to configure your devices, ensuring they work perfectly in your space. Plus, with features like the HDL410 coverage map and voice detection, you’ll have all the tools you need to get the best performance from your Nureva system.
Impacted products: Nureva App, HDL310 and HDL410.
Updates to coverage map
What’s new? In the Nureva App, users can now input more accurate room dimensions and microphone and speaker bar placement to visualize the room layout. The app also supports layers in the coverage map so users can show information and hide it from view, like room dimensions, camera zones and sound location data.
How it works:
Room dimension configuration: In the Nureva App, users can input accurate room dimensions and HDL410 microphone and speaker bar placement. This feature enables users to visualize the room layout, helping them to better position camera zones and understand the overall room configuration. By providing accurate information, users can optimize their setup for the best performance.
Layers in the coverage map: The app now supports layers in the coverage map so users can toggle between showing and hiding different pieces of information. These include room dimensions, camera switching zones and sound location data.
Why it matters: These improvements make it easier to configure camera zones and troubleshoot issues. By visualizing the room layout and accurately positioning zones, users can ensure their setup is optimized for the best performance, leading to a more efficient and effective experience.
Impacted products: Nureva App and HDL410.
Improved update notifications in the Nureva App
What’s new? We’ve made it easier to stay informed about new software updates. The new UI clearly indicates available updates, explains their benefits and distinguishes between critical and noncritical updates.
How it works:
Informative UI: The new interface provides clear information about each update. It explains why the update is necessary, what benefits it brings and whether it is critical or noncritical.
Update notifications: You’ll receive notifications about available updates directly in the app. This ensures you’re always aware of the latest improvements and you can decide when to install them.
User guidance: The interface guides you through the update process, making it simple and straightforward. It also helps you understand the importance of each update so you can make informed decisions.
Why it matters: You’ll be less likely to feel overwhelmed by updates. Our new interface helps you understand the importance of each update so you can make informed decisions about which ones to install and when. This ensures your system is always up to date with the latest features and improvements, enhancing your users’ overall experience.
Impacted products: Nureva App, HDL310 and HDL410.
Improved parity for the Nureva App between web and mobile
What’s new? We’ve updated our mobile versions of the app to match the features available on our web-based app. This includes improvements to the login and other functionalities to ensure a seamless experience across all platforms.
Why it matters: Whether you’re using our app on your phone or computer, you’ll now have access to the same great features (with the exception of acoustic check, which is available on iOS only). This makes it easier to switch between devices without missing a beat.
Impacted products: Nureva App iOS and Android version 1.2.
Acoustic check on iPad devices now supported
What’s new? We’ve updated our acoustic check feature in the Nureva App to support iPad devices (5th generation and later).
Why it matters: Nureva acoustic check can be used on an iPhone® or iPad device to capture both the background noise level and the reverberation time. Nureva’s trained algorithm then provides a score that predicts the remote experience for the HDL310 and HDL410 at the tested location.
Impacted products: Nureva App iOS version 1.2.
