How close to a ceiling can the HDL300 system be mounted?

The Nureva^® HDL300 integrated microphone and speaker bar can be installed close to the ceiling. However, keep in mind the following considerations:

• The microphone and speaker bar is not designed to be mounted on the ceiling.

• It’s important to ensure there’s a direct voice path between the people speaking and the microphones.

• The microphone and speaker bar should be mounted on a wall or with a backboard.

• The recommended minimum height for the microphone and speaker bar is 7.1' (2.2 m).

• Placement near noise sources can interfere with the audio pickup of the system. Install it away from noise sources such as heating and air-conditioning vents.

• Ceiling and wall surfaces around the microphone and speaker bar will absorb or reflect sound, which will affect the audio pickup.

• Installing it too close to an adjoining wall or an object may impede the sound quality from the system’s speakers
