What are the HDL300 operating system and driver requirements?

The Nureva^® HDL300 system and firmware are tested with the following operating systems:

• Windows^® 10

• Windows 11

• macOS^® Ventura

• macOS Monterey

The HDL300 system will also work with other operating systems that allow for standard USB Human Interface Device (HID) or USB audio class operation. Some examples are shown below. Please note that the HDL300 system is not tested with these operating systems.

• Windows 7

• Windows 8.1

• OS X^® Yosemite

• OS X El Capitan

• macOS Big Sur

• macOS Catalina

• macOS Mojave

Rosetta 2

Apple advises using Rosetta^® 2 with Mac^® computers that have Apple^® silicon. Rosetta 2 enables a Mac computer with Apple silicon to use apps originally built to support Mac computers that use Intel^® processors. Some Mac computers do not have Rosetta 2 pre-installed, and it must be installed before Nureva Console client can be used.

Driver requirements

The HDL300 system is plug and play. It presents itself as both an audio input (recording) and audio output (playback) device. It works as a standard USB device without requiring special drivers or software. Each device presents itself specifically as a USB composite device (HID device and audio class).

Keep in mind that these requirements are for a typical installation. The HDL300 system will also work with other devices, including some that are computerless.
