What is dynamic boost?
Dynamic boost is an advanced audio processing feature for Nureva® HDL310 and HDL410 systems. This feature enhances speaker output and improves speech intelligibility, ensuring clear audio even in large or challenging rooms. Available in firmware version 1.9 and above, dynamic boost can be easily activated through the Nureva App or Nureva Console.
What are the key benefits?
Amplified speaker output
Dynamic boost actively adjusts audio signal levels, significantly increasing speaker output to ensure clear sound even in large or noisy settings. This adjustment can boost speaker output by up to 10 dB, depending on the input signal, ensuring everyone in the room can hear clearly. Dynamic boost effectively amplifies low-level audio signals while managing higher-level inputs to prevent distortion, ensuring a balanced audio experience.
Enhanced speech intelligibility
Dynamic boost amplifies subtle speech details, making it easier to understand remote participants. It also automatically manages equalizer settings for a warmer and clearer sound. This is particularly beneficial for understanding remote participants and media content.
When should dynamic boost be used?
Dynamic boost is particularly beneficial in the following situations:
Meeting spaces are large or have challenging acoustics.
In-room participants have difficulty hearing remote speakers clearly.
The Nureva device‘s volume is constantly set at 100% and more headroom is wanted.
Media content with varying audio levels (e.g., on YouTube™ video-sharing platform) is often played in the room.
