By default, this password is set to the device enrollment code and can be changed at any time. **Compatible products**: HDL310, HDL410 and HDX systems. > [!NOTE] > **Note**: Changing the third-party API integration password may break existing integrations. Any connected integrations should be checked and updated as needed after the password is reset. ## Setting the password 1. Open the Nureva App and go to **Settings**. 2. Select **Device password**. 3. Expand the third-party password section to find the reset settings. 4. Enter the new third-party password in the **Password** field. 5. Re-enter the new password in the **Confirm password** field. 6. Press **Apply** to complete the password change. ## Password requirements The Nureva App and the device do not enforce requirements for the device password. Setting a strong password with the following guidelines is suggested: - Comprise at least 10 characters. - Include at least one lowercase and one uppercase letter. - Include numbers and symbols. Requirements for the third-party API integration password are set by the third-party application, not by the Nureva App. ## Forgotten passwords If the device password is forgotten, it can be reset by pressing the reset button on the back of the connect module. This restores the device password to the default enrollment code, found on the bottom of the connect module. If the third-party API integration password is forgotten, it can be reset from within the Nureva App, or by pressing the reset button on the back of the connect module. ## Additional resources [Reset HDL310 and HDL410 passwords with the Nureva App](https://support.nureva.com/docs/reset-hdl310-hdl410-passwords-nureva-app) [Get started with the Nureva App](https://support.nureva.com/docs/get-started-with-the-nureva-app) [Nureva App user guide](https://support.nureva.com/docs/nureva-app-online-user-guide)
