    Article summary

The Nureva® App is a web-based companion app designed to enhance the setup and configuration of HDL310 and HDL410 systems, as well as manage a comprehensive range of audio device settings. This web app is accessed over a local area network (LAN) using a browser and the IP address for the Nureva device. A continuous internet connection is not required to use the app.

    Before starting

Ensure the HDL310 or HDL410 system has been connected to the internet for a minimum of 6 hours. This allows the device to complete component updates. Internet access is required only to update the device.

Have the device IP address and enrollment code ready to access the app for the first time. The IP address and enrollment code can be found in Nureva Console. This information is available in the device dashboard, under the Hardware and networking section.

If the device is not connected to Nureva Console, the enrollment code and MAC address can be found on the bottom of the connect module. These will be used to find the IP address and access the app for the first time.

    Using the app

The Nureva App can be opened and used on a computer or mobile device with a supported browser installed. Currently, the Chrome™ and Safari® browsers are supported.

    1. Open a browser and enter the device IP address into the search bar.

    2. When prompted for a password, enter the HDL310 or HDL410 enrollment code and click Continue.

    3. The Nureva App home page will open.

    Setting a static IP address

    1. Open Settings and select Network.

      • On the Network page, the network information — including the Nureva device IP address — is available.

    2. In the drop-down menu, change the setting to Static.

      • Four fields are available — IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS.

    3. Enter the new IP address, subnet mask, gateway and DNS.

      • Multiple DNS entries can be used provided that commas separate them.

    4. Press Apply at the bottom of the page.

      • A pop-up window will appear for confirmation.

      • The app will reload the page using the new IP address.

    5. Enter the device password to return to the Nureva App home page.

Important: Nureva recommends setting a private device IP address and ensuring all fields are on the same subnet to maintain access to the Nureva device.

    Setting a dynamic IP address

If a static IP address has been set up for an HDL310 or HDL410 system, the setting can be returned to a dynamic IP address.

    1. Open Settings and select Network.

      • On the Network page, the network information — including the Nureva device IP address — is available.

    2. In the drop-down menu, change the setting to Automatic (DHCP).

    3. Press Apply at the bottom of the page.

      • A pop-up window will appear for confirmation.

    4. After confirming the change, the Nureva App will lose connection with the Nureva device.

    5. Find the new IP address to reenter the app.

Important: Resetting the Nureva device will set a new dynamic IP address and return some device settings back to default.
