# Firmware version 1.8 for HDL410 audio systems

We’re pleased to announce that firmware version 1.8.269710 is now available for HDL410 audio conferencing systems. The firmware can be updated in Nureva® Console and the Nureva app.

## Key improvements in this release

- Improved saving and retention of Voice Amplification Mode settings
- Added Voice Amplification Mode data for improved camera switching
- USB ecosystem improvements that enable USB speed switching through the Nureva app
- Support for Voice detection feature to improve targeting for camera switching and local integrations through the Nureva app
- Various other bug fixes

## Updating the firmware

Nureva Console and the Nureva app provide visual cues when a firmware update becomes available. If a message about a firmware update is shown in Nureva Console or through the Nureva app, an update is needed.
