# Firmware version 1.7 for HDL200 audio systems

We’re pleased to announce that firmware version 1.7.166588 is now available for HDL200 audio conferencing systems. The HDL200 firmware can be updated in Nureva® Console.

## Key improvements in this release

- Enhanced noise reduction responsiveness for static noise sources
- Upgraded USB functionality for better compatibility with third-party devices
- Fixed display rendering issues
- Improved clock functionality when the host machine is unavailable
- Set stereo output mode as the default
- Set default microphone and speaker levels to 100%
- Included support for Microsoft® Teams telemetry
- Fixed various bugs

## Updating the firmware

Nureva Console and the HDL200 system provide visual cues when a firmware update becomes available. If a message about a firmware update is shown in Nureva Console or on the HDL200 display, an update is needed.

## Resetting to default settings

After updating the firmware, we recommend resetting the HDL200 system to default settings using Nureva Console client or Nureva Console cloud.

1. Open Nureva Console client or log in to Nureva Console cloud.
2. Go to the **Devices** dashboard.
3. Scroll down to **Recovery** and expand the menu.
4. Locate the option to reset to default settings.
5. Click the **Reset** button.
