    Setting your default device

    To ensure the Nureva system is ready for conference calls it must be set as the default audio and default communication device for playback and recording within the computer's sound settings.

    In Windows®

    Follow these steps to set a Nureva audio conferencing system as the default audio device for a Windows® computer.

    1. Click the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop.

    2. Right-click Sounds.

    3. The sound settings window will open.

    In Windows sound settings:

    Playback tab

    1. Select Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Nureva audio). The product name might also be shown.

    2. Open the Set Default drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel.

    3. Select Set as the Default Communication device.

    4. Open the drop-down menu again.

    5. Select Set as the Default device.

    Recording tab

    1. Select Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Nureva audio). The product name might also be shown.

    2. Open the Set Default drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel.

    3. Select Set as the Default Communication device.

    4. Open the drop-down menu again.

    5. Select Set as the Default device.

    Zoom & Zoom Rooms client

    Open Zoom audio settings

    1. Launch the Zoom desktop client on your computer.

    2. Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.

    3. In the dropdown menu, select Settings.

    4. In the left-hand menu, click on Audio.

    Select the Nureva Device as Your Speaker (Output)

    1. Under the Speaker section, click the dropdown menu.

    2. Select your Nureva device as the preferred output device.

    3. Click Test Speaker to ensure audio plays through the correct device.

    Select the Nureva Device as Your Microphone (Input)

    1. Under the Microphone section, click the dropdown menu.

    2. Select your Nureva device as the preferred input device.

    3. Speak into the microphone and check the Input Level bar to confirm it detects sound

    Enable Zoom Background Noise Removal

    1. Scroll down to the Audio Profile section.

    2. Click on Zoom Background Noise Removal to expand the options.

    3. Select Auto to allow Zoom to intelligently filter out background noise while maintaining voice clarity.

    4. Click Apply or simply close the settings window (Zoom saves changes automatically).

    Your Nureva audio device is now fully configured for Zoom meetings with optimized background noise removal.
