Nureva® audio systems can be configured to work with Zoom Meetings and Zoom Rooms by following the steps below.
Before starting
Set up the Nureva system by following the steps in the get started guide:
Get started with the HDL200 system
Get started with the HDL300 system
Get started with the Dual HDL300 system

Setting the default device
To ensure the Nureva system is ready for conference calls, it must be set as the default audio and default communication device for playback and recording within the computer’s sound settings.
In Windows
Follow these steps to set a Nureva audio conferencing system as the default audio device for a Windows® computer.
Click the speaker icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop.
Right-click Sound.
The sound settings window will open.
In Windows sound settings
Playback tab
Select Echo canceling speakerphone (Nureva audio). The product name might also be shown.
Open the Set default drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel.
Select Set as the default communication device.
Open the drop-down menu again.
Select Set as the default device.
Recording tab
Select Echo canceling speakerphone (Nureva audio). The product name might also be shown.
Open the Set default drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel.
Select Set as the default communication device.
Open the drop-down menu again.
Select Set as the default device.
Zoom & Zoom Rooms
Open Zoom audio settings
Launch Zoom on your computer.
Click on your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
In the drop-down menu, select Settings.
In the menu on the left, click Audio.
Select the Nureva device as the speaker (output)
In the Speaker section, click the drop-down menu.
Select the Nureva device as the preferred output device.
Click Test speaker to ensure audio plays through the correct device.
Select the Nureva device as your microphone (input)
In the Microphone section, click the drop-down menu.
Select the Nureva device as the preferred input device.
Speak into the microphone and check the Input Level bar to confirm it detects sound.
Enable Zoom background noise removal
Scroll down to the Audio Profile section.
Click Zoom Background Noise Removal to expand the options.
Select Auto to allow Zoom to intelligently filter out background noise while maintaining voice clarity.
Click Apply or simply close the settings window (Zoom saves changes automatically).
The Nureva audio device is now fully configured for Zoom meetings with optimized background noise removal.
