Optimize the HDL200 system settings

Learn how to optimize the HDL200 system settings for your organization’s unique space. The system’s features and settings are managed in the Nureva® App and Nureva Console. It’s recommended that device settings are adjusted during a test call for optimizing performance. All device settings can be returned to the system defaults at any time.
Before starting
Set the HDL200 system as the default audio device.
Open the Nureva App or log in to the Nureva Console account.
Settings
Microphone
Configure the microphone system to be mono input or stereo input.
Mono (default)
Captures in-room audio as a single source
Mono is the recommended setting
Stereo
Captures in-room audio as left and right sources
Audio processing
The HDL300 system continuously auto-calibrates for optimal audio quality. Audio processing settings are available in Nureva Console. They should be adjusted only if users are experiencing problems.
Echo reduction
Select a lower setting if remote users notice that voices in the room are cutting out. If remote users can hear their own voices echoing, select a higher setting.

Select a lower setting if remote users notice that voices in the room are cutting out. If remote users hear background noises such as HVAC systems or fans, select a higher setting.

Calibrate
Initiate calibration when the room setup has changed significantly to quickly optimize the audio performance of a Nureva audio conferencing system.
Speakers
The HDL300 system offers two presets for treble and bass output. If additional adjustments are required, select Custom to adjust the treble and the bass individually.

Adjusting the treble and bass can affect echo-cancellation performance. It’s recommended these settings are adjusted during a test call.
USB port
For some combinations of the HDL200 and third-party devices, matching the USB speeds will provide a better experience. The Nureva offers the choice of using Full Speed (USB 1.1) and Hi-Speed (USB 2.0) for these integrations.

Display
Choose the LCD screen theme and turn on or off the clock.

Devices
Displays Information about the HDL200, including the MAC address, IP address and enrollment code. Basic information about third party peripherals is also included, along with the option to add them to the Nureva App and Nureva Console.

Reset audio settings
Nureva App
Open the Tools menu to reset the audio settings for the HDL200 system.
