The Nureva® App is a web-based companion app designed to enhance the setup and configuration of HDL310 and HDL410 systems, as well as manage a comprehensive range of audio device settings. This web app is accessed over a local area network (LAN) using a browser and the IP address for the Nureva device. A continuous internet connection is not required to use the app.
Which Nureva audio devices are compatible with the Nureva App?
The Nureva App is available with the HDL310 and HDL410 audio systems as an alternative to using Nureva Console for device management.
Can the app be used with the HDL200, HDL300 or Dual HDL300 systems or the CV30 camera?
No, those devices are not compatible with the Nureva App because they are not network enabled.
How is the Nureva App accessed?
The Nureva App can be opened and used on a computer or mobile device that has a supported browser installed. The IP address and enrollment code for the Nureva device are used to access the app.
Which browsers are supported by the Nureva App?
Currently, the Chrome™ and Safari® browsers are supported.
Why does my browser have a “Your connection to this site is not secure” warning?
The first time the Nureva App is accessed using the IP address of an HDL310 or HDL410 system, a browser warning may state: “Your connection to this site is not secure.” This warning appears because the Nureva audio device is protected by a self-signed certificate that is unique to Nureva devices and unknown to the browser. There are two options for proceeding to the Nureva App.
Verify that the IP address is correct and select the browser option to proceed to the Nureva App.
Connect the computer directly to the Nureva audio device using an Ethernet cable and use the link-local address (169.254.254.254) to proceed to the Nureva App. See Using a direct Ethernet connection with the Nureva App for more information.
Is an internet connection required to use the Nureva App?
No, the app does not require a continuous internet connection to be used. The HDL310 and HDL410 connect modules only require connection to a local area network (LAN).
When setting up the HDL310 or HDL410 system for the first time, the connect module requires access to the internet for a minimum of 6 hours. This allows the device to complete component updates. Internet access is not required after the updates are complete.
Where can the IP address be found?
The IP address is found in Nureva Console. This information is available in the device dashboard, under the Hardware and networking section.
If the device is not connected to Nureva Console, the enrollment code and MAC address can be found on the bottom of the connect module. These will be used to find the IP address and access the app for the first time.
Where can the enrollment code be found?
The enrollment code is found in Nureva Console. This information is available in the device dashboard, under the Hardware and networking section.
If the device is not connected to Nureva Console, the enrollment code can be found on the bottom of the connect module.
How are the IP address and enrollment code used?
The IP address is entered into the browser to open the app. The enrollment code is used as the password to enter the app.
