When using Voice Amplification Mode with an HDL310 or HDL410 system, tuning the wireless headset is important. If dynamic boost is also enabled, careful tuning steps are also required to allow for optimal audio performance.
Key considerations
When fine-tuning Voice Amplification Mode with dynamic boost enabled, keep the following in mind:
Wireless headset signal level | Ensure the wireless headset signal level is adequate for when the person wearing it is talking. |
Far-end sound level | Maintain an acceptable sound level for remote listeners, including voices picked up in the room through the Nureva system and from the wireless headset microphones. |
Near-end speaker volume | Balance the volume from the speakers in the room. |

Follow these steps to balance Voice Amplification Mode with dynamic boost effectively:
Initial tuning with dynamic boost disabled
Ensure dynamic boost is turned off.
Set up the wireless headset microphone according to the instructions for the HDL310 or HDL410.
Tune the wireless headset transmitter and receiver, making sure the far end can hear the voices from the room clearly and at an acceptable level. The level of the voices from the wireless headset microphone and the Nureva system should be similar at the far end.

Adjusting with dynamic boost enabled
If the Nureva system’s speaker output is too loud for the wireless headset after dynamic boost is enabled, make these adjustments:
Change the amplification level to Low using the Nureva App or Nureva Console.
Adjust the system’s playback volume through the operating system to balance the overall speaker output.
Do not change the settings on the wireless headset transmitter and receiver.
