With room profiles in the Nureva® App for PC, you can configure settings for multiple meeting scenarios in a single space. This feature is useful when you have HDL300 or Dual HDL300 systems in rooms used for a variety of purposes, such as small team meetings and larger group sessions. By creating and switching between profiles, you can apply predefined room configurations without needing to manually adjust the settings each time.
When to use room profiles
Room profiles are useful when a room is regularly reconfigured for different types of conferencing scenarios — particularly when active zones, camera zones or camera switching are involved.
Examples where this can be useful
For a team huddle, the camera view could be set to focus on participants seated around the table, possibly using multiple camera views, with full-room audio pickup enabled.
For a companywide presentation in the same space, a camera zone could be set up near the front of the room to focus on the presenter, with additional zones positioned further back to capture the audience.
By creating distinct profiles for each scenario, the need to manually reconfigure zones and camera settings before each meeting can be avoided.
Creating a room profile
By default, Profile 1 is available on the home page of the Nureva App. To create additional profiles or edit existing profiles:
Click the Profile menu on the home page.
Select the Edit icon to rename the current profile.
Choose Add profile to create a new profile.
This duplicates the current profile and you should then customize its name.
Once a new profile is created, it becomes active. The zones and camera switching settings can be adjusted for that individual profile. A maximum of three profiles can be set up per room.
Note: Audio settings are shared across all profiles. Changes made to the audio settings for one profile will apply to every profile for that room.
Switching between profiles
Follow these steps to switch between room profiles:
On the home page, open the Profile menu.
Select the required profile.
Click Got it to dismiss the confirmation notification.
The selected profile is now active and its settings will be applied to the room.
Removing a profile
Before a profile can be removed, it needs to be made inactive. There must always be at least one active profile. To remove a profile:
Open the Profile menu on the home page.
Select the inactive profile and click the trash can icon.
Click Remove to confirm.
Device-specific capabilities
HDL300 devices support one active zone on the coverage map. Each profile can have a different zone configuration, such as the zone size. All other settings are shared across profiles.
Dual HDL300 devices support one active zone, which can be assigned to the microphone and speaker bar connected to either port 1 or port 2 on the connect module. Profiles can be customized by selecting which port is active and adjusting the zone size. All other settings are shared across profiles.
