Sometimes, network restrictions will prevent a Nureva® HDL310 or HDL410 device from connecting to the Nureva App and Nureva Console cloud. In these cases, the recommended solution is using Nureva Console client to manage the device locally.
If the Nureva App is already installed on the computer, it should be uninstalled before installing Nureva Console client to avoid any conflicts.
Uninstalling the Nureva App
Use Windows® File Explorer to navigate to the Nureva folder found in the Program Files (x86) folder.
For most users, the path to the folder is Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Nureva.
Locate and run the Uninstaller application in the Nureva folder.
Some users may need administrator access to run the application.
Complete the steps for the uninstaller and press Finish when complete.
The Nureva App will be uninstalled and the Nureva folder will be empty. The Nureva folder will be used for the Nureva Console client installation.
Installing Nureva Console client
Download Nureva Console client.
Launch the Nureva Console client installer.
Follow the steps to complete the installation.
When the installation is complete, a shortcut to Nureva Console client will be available on the computer’s desktop.
Important:
Nureva Console client will show a banner advising to update to the Nureva App. This update is not required if Nureva Console client will be used to manage the Nureva audio device.
USB connection
To use Nureva Console client with an HDL310 or HDL410 system, a USB connection to the computer is required.
Connect the provided USB cable to the USB-B port on the connect module.
Run the cable to the computer and connect it to a USB-A port.
