    Article summary

    Before starting

    1. Set up the Nureva App to manage the Nureva system.

    2. Confirm the Nureva audio system is up to date.

    Important

Ensure the system is not in use before restarting it. If the system is restarted while in use, the device will no longer be connected to the conferencing application and will be dropped from the conference.

    Reset audio settings

When troubleshooting an issue, returning the HDL410 system to its original default audio settings might be necessary. Resetting the audio settings is not available if the device is offline.

    1. Open the Nureva App and connect to the Nureva audio system using its IP address and enrollment code, then select Continue.

      • If the enrollment code has been replaced with a password, enter the password.

    2. Open the Tools menu.

    3. Scroll down to Reset audio settings and press the Reset button.

The device will now be back to the original default audio settings.

    Restart device

When troubleshooting an issue, restarting the HDL410 system could be required. Restarting the device will force a power cycle, turning the system off and then on again. An HDL410 system can be restarted if there is an issue with the connect module or if the Ethernet cable is disconnected from the microphone and speaker bars.

Note: While the system restarts, it will be shown as offline. The device will not be available for use in a conference until the restart is complete.

    1. Open the Nureva App and connect to the Nureva audio system using its IP address and enrollment code, then select Continue.

      • If the enrollment code has been replaced with a password, enter the password.

    2. Open the Tools menu.

    3. Scroll down to Restart device and press the Reset button.

This will power cycle the device. Once the restart begins, the device status will be Offline. The device cannot be used during the restart process, which will take up to 5 minutes.

If the issue persists after restarting the device

A remote restart may not address all issues. If issues persist with the device after a restart, check the status indicator lights on the connect module for further diagnosis.

What do the status indicator lights on the connect module mean?
