Learn how to optimize the HDL310 system settings for your organization’s unique space. The system’s features and settings are managed using the Nureva® App and Nureva Console. It’s recommended that device settings are adjusted during a test call for optimizing performance. All device settings can be returned to the system defaults at any time.
Before starting
Set the HDL310 system as the default audio device.
Set up the Nureva App or Nureva Console cloud to manage the Nureva system.

Adjusting the treble and bass can affect echo-cancellation performance. It’s recommended these settings are adjusted during a test call.
Audio processing
The HDL310 system continuously auto-calibrates for optimal audio quality. Audio processing settings are available in Nureva Console cloud and they should be adjusted only if users are experiencing problems.

Calibrate
Initiate recalibration when the room setup has changed significantly to quickly optimize the audio performance of a Nureva audio conferencing system.
Auxiliary ports
Aux in
Connect the auxiliary input source to be output through the HDL310 system’s speakers. The signals from the aux-in port will get mixed with any signals from a USB audio source.
Aux out
Select an auxiliary output mode for interoperability with other audio systems.
Mic level (echo-canceled microphone output at mic level)
Used for recorders and mixers
Line level (default echo-canceled microphone output at line level)
Used for external devices
Speaker out (speaker output at line level)
Used for external speakers
Mixed signal (mixed microphone and speaker signals at line level)
Used for hearing augmentation and lecture capture devices
Speaker reference
Used for acoustic tracking cameras requiring reference signals from in-room speakers
Adaptive Voice Amplification
Connect a wireless headset microphone system to the HDL310 to amplify the instructor's voice in the room. The HDL310's full-room audio pickup ensures that remote participants clearly hear all voices from the classroom.
Security
Disable the QR code access
A device setup tool is available in Nureva Console for HDL310 audio conferencing systems. Each connect module has a specific QR code. When QR code access is enabled, the device setup tool adjusts the device settings. The QR code access can be disabled to prevent access to the settings. Disabling the QR code will not limit access to the tool or the installation tips.
Integrations
Local integrations
Enable local integrations to allow the HDL310 to share sound location data with third-party systems for camera tracking and switching. Some third-party cameras will require the hostname and port number to be manually entered. This information is available in the local integrations dashboard below the toggle that enables integration. Buttons are available for copying and pasting the information into the camera software.
Recovery
Reset audio settings
If it is necessary to return the HDL310 system to its default audio settings, pressing the Reset button will restore the audio settings to their original default setup. The HDL310 must be online and connected to the Nureva Console cloud to be remotely reset. Remotely resetting the device is not available if it is offline.
Restart device
When restarting the HDL310 system is required, Pressing the Restart button will force the device to power cycle, turning the system off and then on again. To remotely restart the system, it must be online and connected to Nureva Console cloud. Remotely restarting the device is not available if the device is offline.
