# What are the Dual HDL300 operating system and driver requirements?

## Operating systems

The Nureva® Dual HDL300 system and firmware are tested with the following operating systems:

- Windows® 10
- Windows 11
- macOS® Ventura
- macOS Sonoma

The Dual HDL300 system will also work with other operating systems that allow for standard USB Human Interface Device (HID) or USB audio class operation. Some examples are shown below. Please note that the Dual HDL300 system is not tested with these operating systems.

- Windows 7
- Windows 8.1
- OS X® Yosemite
- OS X El Capitan
- macOS Big Sur
- macOS Catalina
- macOS Mojave
- macOS Monterey

## Driver requirements

The Dual HDL300 system is plug and play. It presents itself as both an audio input (recording) and audio output (playback) device. It works as a standard USB device without requiring special drivers or software. Each device presents itself specifically as a USB composite device (HID device and audio class).

Keep in mind that these requirements are for a typical installation. The Dual HDL300 system will also work with other devices, including some that are computerless.
