Getting started with your HDL300 and Dual HDL300 system

  Administrative access required on the computer connected to the HDL300 system

Step 1: Download Nureva Console client

Install Nureva Console client on the PC connected to the HDL300

  • Launch Nureva Console client installer 
  • Follow the steps to complete the installation

Nureva Console client is required to:

  • Update firmware to ensure HDL300 system optimal audio performance
  • Manage the HDL300 settings from the in-room computer
  • Enroll your HDL300 system into Nureva Console to manage it remotely

NOTE:  If you have increased security on your internet connection, you may need to approve the URLs from this list. 

Step 2: Install and connect hardware

Install the HDL300

  • Installation quick start guide available here
Connect a single HDL300
  • Using the provided USB cable, connect to the USB-B port on the connect module
  • Run the cable to the in-room PC, connecting to the USB-A port
  • Connect the provided PoE cable to the RJ45-1 port on the connect module
  • Run the PoE cable to the RJ45 port on the back of the microphone and speaker bar
  • Connect the provided power supply to the connect module and plug it into an available outlet or power bar

Install a Dual HDL300

  • Installation quick start guide available here
Connect a Dual HDL300
  • Using the provided USB cable, connect to the USB-B port on the connect module
  • Run the cable to the in-room PC, connecting to the USB-A port
  • Connect the provided PoE cables to each RJ45 port on the connect module
  • Run the PoE cables to the RJ45 ports on the back of each microphone and speaker bar
  • Connect the provided power supply to the connect module and plug it into an available outlet or power bar

Once connected and powered

  • The HDL300  or Dual HDL300 system will automatically calibrate
    • Please remain quiet in the room until calibration is complete 
  • When calibration has been completed continue to step 3 and launch Nureva Console client to perform the firmware update

Step 3: Launch Nureva Console client and complete setup

Launch Nureva Console Client
  • The HDL300 systems will be automatically detected by Nureva Console client
    NOTEIf the system is not detected, check the USB connection to the computer as well as the power connection.
  • Select Continue

Set the HDL300 system as the default audio device

To ensure the HDL300 system is ready for conference calls it must be set as the default audio and default communication device for playback and recording within the Windows sound settings.

  • Choose "Open sound settings" to open the computer sound settings

In Windows sound settings
    • Select the Playback tab
    • Select HDL300 (Echo Cancelling Speakerphone)
    • Using the drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel, choose Set as Default Communication device
    • Select HDL300 (Echo Cancelling Speakerphone)
    • Using the drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel, choose Set as Default device

In Windows sound settings

    • Select the Recording tab
    • Select HDL300 (Echo Cancelling Speakerphone)
    • Using the drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel, choose Set as Default Communication device
    • Select HDL300 (Echo Cancelling Speakerphone)
    • Using the drop-down menu at the bottom of the panel, choose Set as Default device

Once the sound settings have been set to the HDL300, return to the Nureva Console client application and click "Next".


Enabling remote management

To begin, select "Enable remote management" at the bottom of the window.

Step 1:  Select "Create account" this will launch a browser to create a Nureva Console account in the cloud. If you already have an account sign in and advance to enroll the HDL300 system.
  • Please DO NOT close Nureva Console client as it is needed to complete enrollment
  • Enter an email address to be used for the account sign-in, then watch for the verification email in the inbox
  • Verify the email address by pressing the "Verify" link in the email
  • Sign in using the email address and password used for setup
  • Complete first name, last name, and organization fields
  • Agree to the Nureva Software License and General Terms
  • Opt-in or out of product and service emails
  • Click on "Next" to complete account setup and open the device list page

NOTE: If you have enhanced internet security, please approve the URLs from this list


Enroll your HDL300 system

When Nureva Console cloud first launches there will be no devices enrolled. To make the connection between the physical hardware and the ability to manage it online, a code is required.


Step 2: Choose "Enroll device" in Nureva Console cloud from your browser

  • Navigate back to Nureva Console client 

NOTE: If you have closed the client window, please relaunch it following the setup, then click "Enable remote management" 

Step 3: Choose "Generate enrollment code" in Nureva Console client

Step 4: Select "Copy" and paste the enrollment code into the "Enter code" box in Nureva Console cloud and click "Next"


  • Select "Allow" from the pop-up in your browser to continue with device enrollment


Enter some additional device details such as the room name and tags to help you identify your device within your organization.

Example room name:  CA-Boardroom-1

Example tags: HDL300, Wall mounted, Floor 1, Room 502, 65" Display 

  • Click "Save"

The HDL300 system should now appear in the device list, as shown below.

Step 4: Update firmware

 The HDL300 system will not be available for calls during the firmware update. Please do not turn off the computer, unplug, or disconnect the device.


Nureva Console indicates the firmware version of each enrolled device. If "Update available" is shown on the firmware version column the device is currently not up to date and should be updated. 

  • Click on the "3 dot" actions menu and select "Update firmware"

 A confirmation dialog will appear to acknowledge that the device will not be available for calls during the update process.

  • Click "Update" to continue

The download and update process will commence.  When completed the new firmware version will be visible.

The HDL300 setup is now complete. To ensure audio quality it is recommended to perform a test call from within the room.

Step 1: Download Nureva Console client

  • Launch the Nureva Console Client PKG file to install
  • Follow the steps to complete the installation

Nureva Console client is required to:

  • Run the PoE cables to the RJ45 ports on the back of each microphone and speaker bar
  • Connect the provided power supply to the connect module and plug it into an available outlet or power bar

Once connected and powered

  • The HDL300  or Dual HDL300 system will automatically calibrate
    • Please remain quiet in the room until calibration is complete 
  • When calibration has completed continue to step 3 and launch Console client to perform the firmware update.

Step 3: Launch Nureva Console client and complete setup

  • The HDL300 systems will be automatically detected by Nureva Console client
    NOTEIf the system is not detected, check the USB connection to the computer as well as the power connection.
  • Select Continue

Set the HDL300 system as the default audio device

  • Choose "Open sound settings" to open sound settings


In sound settings
  • Select the Output tab
  • Select HDL300 

In sound settings

  • Select the Input tab
  • Select HDL300 

Once the sound settings have been set to the HDL300, return to the Nureva Console client application click "Next"
