No, it does not have built-in SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) functionality. However, the HDL300 system can provide microphone, and speaker functionality for a SIP-enabled device (IP phone or tablet) provided the device has compatible ports.
Use the 3.5mm unbalanced Line In & Line Out on the HDL300 connect module to connect a SIP-enabled device to the HDL300. Connecting to the Line In will playback audio from the connected SIP-enabled device. Connecting the Line Out to the SIP-enabled device will provide echo-canceled microphone pickup.
Some SIP devices will require a settings change to accept the passthrough of audio.
